These terms and conditions govern every tour, excursion and transfer booked with Jey Tours in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. By making a booking you accept the terms and conditions set out below. Please read them together with our Cancellation & Refund Policy and our Privacy Policy.

Who We Are
Jey Tours is a locally owned tour operator based in Puerto Plata. We are officially authorized to collect guests inside the Amber Cove and Taino Bay cruise terminals, and we also serve hotel guests across the province. You can reach us at info@jeytours.com or on +1 (849) 504-8198.
Booking and Confirmation
You may book through this website or by WhatsApp. A booking is only confirmed once we send you a written confirmation containing your tour date, meeting point and detailed instructions. Until you receive that confirmation, no place is reserved for you.
You are responsible for giving us an accurate ship name, arrival date and contact number. We cannot be held responsible for a missed tour caused by incorrect details supplied at booking.
Prices and Payment
We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express for online bookings. Card payments are handled by our payment provider; we never store your full card number on our servers. For other payment arrangements, please contact us directly before you travel.
Prices are quoted per person or per group as stated on each tour page, and include the services listed there. Anything not expressly listed as included should be assumed to be excluded, for example personal spending, optional activities and gratuities.
What Your Tour Includes
All of our tours include round-trip transportation in modern, air-conditioned vehicles with Wi-Fi. Additional inclusions such as entrance fees, equipment, guides, drinks or meals are described individually on each tour page.
Meeting Point and Punctuality
For cruise passengers, our team meets you inside the cruise port holding a Jey Tours sign, at both Amber Cove and Taino Bay. Detailed instructions are sent with your booking confirmation.
Please arrive at the stated meeting time. We plan every itinerary around the exact departure time of your ship, which the ports communicate to us, so that you return with time to spare. If you arrive late and the group has departed, the booking is treated as a no-show.
Cancellations, Refunds and Changes
You may cancel free of charge and receive a full refund provided you cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled start time. Full details, including how to request a refund, are in our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms and conditions.
Weather and Operational Changes
Most of our tours operate rain or shine, and tropical showers are usually brief. If extreme weather or any other circumstance beyond our control makes a tour unsafe, we will cancel it and offer you a full refund or the option to reschedule. We may also adjust an itinerary during the day when safety, sea conditions or traffic require it.
Health, Safety and Your Responsibility
Our tours are fully insured and operated under strict safety standards, and our guides are trained in first aid. You must follow the instructions of your guide at all times, and you must tell us in advance about any medical condition, pregnancy, reduced mobility or dietary requirement that could affect your participation.
Certain activities, including the 27 Waterfalls of Damajagua, buggies and ATVs, carry inherent physical risk. You take part in them voluntarily and at your own risk. We reserve the right to refuse participation to any guest who appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or whose behaviour endangers others.
Children and Minors
Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who remains responsible for them throughout the tour. Minimum age and height restrictions apply to some activities and are stated on the relevant tour page.
Liability
We are liable for the services we provide directly. We are not liable for loss, delay or injury caused by events outside our reasonable control, including weather, port closures, changes to cruise schedules, strikes or acts of government. Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We strongly recommend that every guest hold valid travel insurance covering medical treatment, repatriation and cancellation.
Photography
We sometimes photograph tours for promotional use. If you prefer not to appear in our material, tell your guide at the start of the tour and we will respect that.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic. General travel information for the country is published by the national tourism board at GoDominicanRepublic.com.
